Jennifer Lopez ha estado saliendo con Casper Smart, su bailarín y coreógrafo de 25 años, desde los últimos siete meses, pero ahora, un colega bailarín de él, llamado Joshua Lee Ayers, alega que en realidad Casper es gay y que está usando a J.Lo para sacar partido de su relación y volverse rico y famoso.
El sitio RadarOnline reporta que Ayers, quien trabajó con Smart en la película "Step Up 3D" en 2010, lleva al menos tres meses intentando sacar del clóset a Smart, haciendo estas acusaciones, al mismo tiempo que publica una foto en donde el novio de Jennifer aparece con poca ropa, en una posición bastante sugerente y femenina, acompañado de otros hombres que parecen gays y, además, con un objeto en sus entallados shorts que simula una erección.
En su campaña contra el bailarín, también le ha enviado mensajes al dúo Wisin y Yandel, alegando que el "homo" (sus palabras) con el que trabajaron para el video de "Follow the Leader" junto a Jennifer Lopez, "seguramente se robó las coreografías".

Ayers es un bailarín que ha participado en el show "Glee" y ha trabajado para artistas como Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield y Ludacris.
Comenzó su campaña sobre la orientación sexual de Smart en marzo, cuando vio a fans en Twitter preguntarle a Casper cómo era que ideaba sus coreografías, y él respondía con acusaciones de que "se las roba de otros coreógrafos".
En días pasados, también continúa con mensajes en su cuenta, como "Yo sé lo que sé sobre él. Eso no es amor, sino negocios y relaciones públicas".
Por su lado, el vocero de Jennifer Lopez, Mark Young, desmiente las acusaciones y alega que simplemente es envidia de este individuo.
"Casper no es gay. Los comentarios de Ayers solo demuestran envidia y celos", explica a RadarOnline y otros medios.
