LVIV, Ucrania (AP) — Alemania se citó con Grecia en los cuartos de final de la Eurocopa tras vencer el domingo 2-1 a Dinamarca, resultado que le sirvió para asegurarse el primer lugar del Grupo B.

Dinamarca quedó eliminado dentro del Grupo de la Muerte del torneo. Con idéntico marcador, Portugal derrotó a Holanda y se quedó con el otro boleto.

Lukas Podolski puso en ventaja a Alemania con su gol a los 19 minutos y Lars Bender marcó el de la victoria a los 80. Michael Krohn-Dehli le dio un empate transitorio a Dinamarca a los 24.

Alemania monopolizó la pelota, generó las mejores ocasiones y no se vio en apuros ante un equipo danés que regresa a casa tras haber derrotado a Holanda en su primer partido pero luego perdió ante Portugual.

Firme candidata al título, Alemania se alzó con el primer lugar de su llave con el ideal de nueve puntos. Se las verá con Grecia el viernes en Gdansk.
