El amargo sabor que dejó el resultado de la pelea entre Manny Pacquiao y Timothy Bradley no agradó al promotor estadounidense Bob Arum, quien aseguró que seguirá insistiendo para que se investigue a fondo a todos aquellos que participaron en la pelea que se realizó el fin de semana pasado en Las Vegas, Nevada.
"Es triste lo que pasa. Ahora los fanáticos tienen teorías de conspiración, traición y yo me sentiría igual. Es increíble que las personas de la comisión atlética se deslinden de esa forma. Por eso mandamos a investigar. No sabemos cuanto durará la investigación pero iremos a las ultimas consecuencias", dijo el promotor con más de 50 años de experiencia, quien aseguró que el resultado de la pelea fue "bizarro".
El CEO de la promotora Top Rank explicó que es complicado tomar una medida tan drástica como lo es sacar al boxeo de Las Vegas, pues explicó que económicamente hablando trae muchos beneficios hacerlas en el estado de Nevada.
"Es complicado pensarlo así, pues una de las principales razones son cuestiones de impuestos en Nevada, eso beneficia mucho a las carteleras y de paso los casinos. Son muchas cosas", detalló.
