París, Francia. (Notimex).- Una doble falta del serbio Novak Djokovic permitió al español Rafael Nadal "tocar el cielo" y conquistar por séptima ocasión en su carrera el Roland Garros, para convertirse en el máximo ganador en la historia de este certamen.

Nadal dejó en claro que es el rey de la arcilla y que París es su territorio al lograr este séptimo trofeo y superar al sueco Bjorn Borg, quien se apuntó seis títulos aquí a lo largo de su trayectoria.

Los mejores tenistas del mundo en la actualidad saltaron este lunes a la cancha Philippe Chatrier para definir el partido que la lluvia suspendió la víspera y, tras casi cuatro horas de partido Nadal se impuso por parciales de 6-4, 6-3, 2-6 y 7-5.

El domingo el mallorquín fue superior en las primeras dos mangas y "Nole" dominó la tercera y el inicio de la cuarta, que aventajaba 2-1 cuando la lluvia impidió la continuación del partido que debió posponerse para este lunes por decisión de los organizadores.

De inmediato, en la reanudación, el segundo de la siembra mostró esa hambre de triunfo que lo caracteriza y logró un rompimiento para igualar 2-2 el set, en el que el serbio cometió algunos errores no forzados, terminó con 53, que beneficiaron al ibérico.

Con su servicio ambos se mostraron sólidos a partir de ese momento y Nadal se adelantó 6-5, minutos después que la lluvia amenazó nuevamente, pero instantes después brilló el sol y apagó cualquier posibilidad de otro aplazamiento.

Cuando Novak sirvió para obligar a la "muerte súbita", su servicio no fue el adecuado y con una doble falta entregó el partido y el histórico título a Nadal, que en Roland Garros suma 52 triunfos y una sola derrota, en 2009 frente a Robin Soderling.

Nadal logró el undécimo "grande" en su carrera y, tras caer en siete finales seguidas ante "Nole", seis el año pasado, lo derrotó por tercera ocasión seguida en disputa por el título y dejó en claro que llegará motivado para Wimbledon.

Djokovic, quien tendrá que esperar para conquistar la "Copa de los mosqueteros", debe olvidar pronto este revés y pensar en el tercer Grand Slam de la temporada, en el cual defenderá su corona.
