El equipo de hockey de Los Angeles King han logrado lo que ni los Clippers, Dodgers o Lakers pudieron este 2012, coronarse campeones en su disciplina deportiva.

LA Kings conquistaron la Stanley Cup.

Hace cuatro días, en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles, toda una ciudad se preparaba para vivir un título, para hacer historia por primera vez en 45 años. No obstante, la fiesta fue aplazada por los Devils. El encuentro que protagonizaron el pasado jueves 7 de junio no vio su primer gol hasta casi el minuto 48, porque el primer periodo fue un toma y daca de ambos equipos con Brodeur y Quicks sacando lo mejor de ellos.

En ese momento, daba la sensación que los de Nueva Jersey volvían a esa impotencia que han sufrido todas las series ante la portería de Jonathan Quick, mientras que los Kings no materializaban sus ocasiones; llegaron a dar hasta dos postes en los primeros veinte minutos.

No obstante, esta noche, los Kings han hecho historia en la NHL.
