El púgil filipino Manny Pacquiao y el estadounidense Tim Bradley hicieron su llegada oficial a Las Vegas, de cara a su esperado combate titular en el hotel-casino MGM Grand de esta ciudad.

Pacquiao expondrá su corona welter de la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB) ante el imbatido Bradley, monarca superligero de la OMB.

"Le quiero dar a la gente una gran pelea, pues creo que mis últimos dos combates no salieron muy contentos y haré todo lo que pueda para darles una gran actuación este sábado", dijo Pacquiao a su llegada al lobby del hotel sede de la contienda.

"Sabemos que estamos enfrentando un boxeador joven, con mucha hambre, que está invicto y que es campeón mundial, así que tuvimos una gran preparación y vamos a tener que ser muy inteligentes en el ring", dijo el ídolo asiático.

Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 nocauts) hará la tercera defensa de la corona que ganó el 14 de noviembre de 2009, cuando noqueó al puertorriqueño Miguel Cotto en esta misma ciudad.

"Tuvimos una gran preparación y pienso que Manny está al cien por ciento y no deberá tener problemas con Bradley", dijo Freddie Roach, entrenador del astro filipino.

A su vez, Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12 KO´s), de Palm Springs, California, está seguro que saldrá con la victoria.

"Hemos estudiamos muy bien a Manny Pacquiao y creo que tengo todo para ganarle. Soy rápido, tengo la condición para pelear 12 round a un alto ritmo y, más que nada, tengo el boxeo para hacerle una pelea muy difícil a Pacquiao", dijo Bradley.

"Estoy convencido de que le puedo ganar, pero también sé que me estoy enfrentando al mejor peleador del mundo. Pacquiao es el rey, pero yo quiero su trono y por eso hemos trabajado con mucha intensidad para esta pelea, que sin duda alguna es la más imporante de mi vida", dijo Bradley.

Este miércoles al mediodía, en un salón del casino MGM, se presentarán Pacquiao y Bradley con sus respectivos equipos de trabajo a la última conferencia para promocionar la cartelera internacional.
