Después de un buen punto en el Abierto de Francia - 38 golpes durante casi un minuto - el francés Richard Gasquet vomitó allí mismo en la cancha Suzanne Lenglen.

Su oponente, Grigor Dimitrov de Bulgaria, se derrumbó con un calambre en la pierna y se arrastró en sus manos y las rodillas a la silla de un juez de línea. Llegó una hora, 50 minutos en su Jueves partido de segunda ronda, con Dimitrov servir en 7-5, 5-4, 30-40.

El francés Richard Gasquet es cabeza de serie número 17, terminó vomitando durante su encuentro ante el búlgaro Grigor Dimitrov.

Los dos tenistas llevaban apenas poco más de una hora y media jugando en la arena de París y un juego de 36 golpes dejó exhausto al francés, que terminó vomitando, y al búlgaro de 21 años, con calambres en las piernas. Los dos tenistas no demostraron gran fortaleza física por lo que mostraron las imágenes televisivas.

Un poco mejor fue la de Gasquet que terminó ganando el partido de segunda ronda de Roland Garros 5-7, 7-5, 6-2 y 6-3.
