Sigue el romance de Marco Fabián con el gol luego de marcar los dos en el triunfo 2-1 de la Selección Sub-23 de México ante Bielorrusia y con ello clasificar al Tricolor a semifinales del Torneo Esperanzas de Toulon.

Mikhail Sivakov adelantó a los europeos en el minuto 44 para eliminar momentáneamente a los mexicanos, que alcanzaron la igualada salvadora al 58 mediante anotación de Marco Fabián.

Ya en el minuto tres de compensación, Héctor Herrera bajó el balón por izquierda, mandó centro raso y llegó el “Pistolero” Fabián con el remate para el triunfo por 2-1 y llegar a seis goles en su cuenta particular en la competencia.

El conjunto mexicano enfrentará al de Holanda el miércoles en la ronda de semifinales, en la cual Turquía se medirá a Francia.

La escuadra dirigida por Luis Fernando Tena tuvo un primer tiempo dominador, sobre todo con avances constantes por el lado izquierdo con Javier Aquino, pero sin claridad en el último cuarto de cancha porque los europeos se defendieron con todo.

En ambos tiempos no recurrió el conjunto mexicano al disparo de larga y mediana distancia y ni tampoco intentó paredes para romper la muralla.

Si Liborio Sánchez no fue una garantía absoluta en el cuidado de la portería y no jugó hoy por estar suspendido, el suplente José Antonio Rodríguez tampoco lo fue.

Al minuto 42 Néstor Vidrio regresó comprometido el balón a su guardameta, quien lo agarró para tiro a balón parado de los bielorrusos, que ganaron tiro de esquina en el cual el portero rechazó en corto y al centro y en un segundo intento marcó gol el capitán Mikhail Sivakov.

Pero al 50 cometió una dura falta Stanislav Dragun sobre Marco Fabián para la segunda tarjeta de amonestación y la roja automática, lo cual se combinó con el ingreso de Alan Pulido al 57.

Un minuto después Pulido ganó el esférico, tocó a la izquierda a Herrera, quien centró en corto, Raúl Jiménez dio tanconcito y Marco Fabián disparo por abajo y pegado al poste izquierdo para igualar 1-1 de forma momentánea.

Los europeos perdieron la concentración y minutos más tarde Igor Kuzmanok hizo artera entrada a Fabián y por ello recibió la tarjeta roja directa, al 71.

Mientras Marruecos y Francia, en el otro juego del Grupo B, igualaban 2-2 y daban el pase a los mexicanos a semifinales, el combinado tricolor continuó en su intento por anotar y no poner en riesgo el avance.

Cuando terminó aquel juego 2-2 y daba el pase a los mexicanos, Héctor Miguel Herrera hizo una bella recepción por izquierda, avanzó y luego mandó servicio raso para el arribo de “Pistolero” Fabián, quien con remate triunfador puso el 2-1 en el último de los tres minutos de reposición.

Francia avanzó como primer lugar del Grupo B con siete puntos, seguido de México con seis, en tanto Marruecos (2) y Bielorrusia (1) se regresan a casa.

Buen trabajo del árbitro egipcio Sham Omar, quien amonestó a los bielorrusos Danis Polyakov (minuto 47) y Mikhail Sivakov (83), y expulsó a Stanislav Dragun (50) e Igor Kuzmanok (71); pinto de amarillo a Miguel Herrera (37) y Marco Fabián (82) por México.
