Buenos Aires (AP) — Un simpatizante de Lanús falleció el sábado en un enfrentamiento de barra bravas del mismo club minutos antes del comienzo del encuentro que el equipo local disputaría con All Boys por la 16ta fecha del torneo Clausura.

"En forma indiscriminada empezaron a los tiros", señaló el presidente de la institución, Nicolás Russo, quien explicó que todo empezó a dos cuadras del estadio minutos antes del comienzo del encuentro.

Cabizbajo, visiblemente dolorido, Russo explicó ante los medios que su "familia ingresaba a esa misma hora, sus amigos, y no lo puede entender, mi señora y mis tres hijos, no lo puedo entender, los últimos años en Lanús nunca había pasado nada, un grupo de hinchas, locos, facinerosos bajo con armas y empezó a tirar contra todo".

El presidente afirmó también que "hay un muerto y cinco heridos, dos están en un estado bastante complicado".

Diversos medios argentinos en sus ediciones digitales identificaron al muerto como Daniel Sosa, de 21 años. También dijeron que había nueve detenidos por presunta vinculación con el suceso.

La Asociación del Fútbol Argentino evaluaba los acontecimientos ya avanzada la noche del sábado.
