'30 Rock' recibe final extraño de NBC

NUEVA YORK (AP) — La comedia ganadora del Emmy "30 Rock" será retirada del aire por NBC de una forma extraña.

En cuestión de cuatro días, los representantes de NBC confirmaron que "30 Rock" se terminará tras una temporada resumida de 13 episodios, luego lo negaron y finalmente lo volvieron a confirmar.

Cuando el jueves pasado le pidieron que hablara sobre los rumores de que la serie de comedia creada por Tina Fey estaba llegando al final, la vocera de entretenimiento del canal Lauren Roseman dijo que el programa terminaría tras el final de la próxima temporada.

Pero cuando le preguntaron en una entrevista el domingo si alguna de las comedias de NBC se encontraba en sus últimas temporadas, el jefe de entretenimiento del canal Robert Greenblatt dijo que eso no era cierto. Todas podrían durar más allá del próximo año si tenían buenos resultados en sus niveles de audiencia, dijo.

"El público tiene un voto", agregó Ted Harbert, presidente de NBC Broadcasting. Los dos ejecutivos insistieron en esa versión durante una conferencia telefónica con reporteros casi tres horas después.

Pero cuando subió al escenario en Radio City Music Hall el lunes para representar la programación de la segunda mitad del año a los anunciantes, Greenblatt dijo que era la última temporada para "30 Rock".

NBC espera continuar trabajando con Fey en los "próximos años" en otros proyectos, dijo.

Una vocera de NBC rechazó hacer comentarios al respecto el lunes sobre las diferentes versiones.
