El BMW Serie 3 Sports Wagon confirmado para Estados Unidos

BMW en la búsqueda de nuevos modelos para el mercado estadounidense

Hace un tiempo que BMW decidió no comercializar mas el Serie 5 wagon en Estados Unidos a favor del crossover Serie 5 GT, lo cual no fue muy bien recibido por el mercado. Aprendiendo de esta lección y con motivo del lanzamiento del nuevo Serie 3 wagon, la marca de Stuttgart aparte de señalar su venta a finales de este año en Europa, confirmó su llegada a Estados Unidos como Serie 3 Sports Wagon.

De acuerdo con el sitio en inglés Autoblog.com, quien a su vez retoma el comunicado de prensa de la automotora alemana, el nuevo Serie 3 Sport Wagon destaca por su mayor longitud en relación al modelo actual, ofreciendo por esto, un 10 por ciento más de espacio de carga y tal como sucede con los nuevos sedanes de la Serie 3, cada una de sus motorizaciones estará disponible además con las terminaciones Sport, Luxury y Modern. Las variantes más deportivas M Sport Line también estarán disponibles.

Entre el equipamiento del nuevo BMW Serie 3 Sports Wagon tenemos el portón posterior eléctrico, asistencia de estacionamiento, cámara posterior, etc. Lo anterior sumado al clásico equipamiento de lujo que caracteriza a los modelos BMW.

En conclusión, la buena noticia es que en Estados Unidos tendremos una nueva generación del BMW Serie 3 Sports Wagon, sin embargo la mala noticia es que aun habrá que esperar al menos un año para verlo en los showrooms del país.
