Nelly Furtado lanza hoy el videoclip de su nuevo sencillo, 'Big Hoops', extraído de su siguiente material, 'The Spirit Indestructible', que aparece en tiendas el 19 de junio.

Este regreso a los escenarios nos toca después de verla experimentar con 'Mi Plan' un disco completamente en español (por el cual recibió el Latin Grammy a Mejor Album Pop Vocal Femenino en 2010) y del cual recordamos su éxito 'Manos al aire' y estupendas colaboraciones con Julieta Venegas, la Mala Rodriguez, Juan Luis Guerra, Alejandro Fernández y Álex Cuba.

De esta manera, 'The Spirit Indestructible' significa su primer disco en inglés después de seis años, cuando nos trajo el tremendo éxito de su producción 'Loose', que la catapultó a sensación mundial con hits como 'Promiscuous' y 'Maneater'.

En 'Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)', nos topamos con una Nelly con un sonido un tanto distinto al que ya nos habíamos acostumbrado. Con tintes de música urbana, hip hop y algo de reggae, no nos remite a hits anteriores, pero ya veremos si esta experimentación en su sonido le funciona en las listas o no.

Mientras tanto, nos impresiona con el video, en donde camina por las calles con gigantescos zancos, como si nada, completamente dominando el estilo (muéranse de envidia, supermodelos). En el video de paparazzi que puedes ver debajo, hay escenas detrás de cámaras de Nelly y su aventura con estos zancos.
