FRISCO, Texas, EE.UU. (AP) — El colombiano Jaime Castrillon y el argentino Martín Rivero anotaron en un lapso de 13 minutos para que los Rapids de Colorado derrotaran el domingo por 2-0 al FC Dallas, que se quedó con nueve hombres.
Castrillón anotó de cabeza su tercer gol de la campaña a los 61 minutos y Rivero logró su primer tanto en la MLS a los 74. Brian Mullah dio el pase para ambas anotaciones.
La foja de Colorado mejoró a 5-5 y la de Dallas mermó a 3-4.
El texano Daniel Hernández y el panameño Blas Pérez, del FC Dallas, recibieron tarjetas rojas en la primera mitad. Hernández fue expulsado a los 34 minutos y Pérez, a los 36.
Hernández había recibido la primera tarjeta amarilla a los 25 minutos por reclamar una decisión arbitral y recibió la segunda por una entrada contra Rivero a los 34 minutos.
Pérez se llevó tarjeta roja directa por una entrada imprudente contra Drew Moor.
Al término de la semana, Sporting de Kansas City encabeza la Conferencia del Este con 21 puntos, seguido de D.C, con 20. En la Conferencia del Oeste, San José es líder con 22 unidades, seguido del Real de Salt Lake con igual número de puntos pero con diferencia de goles.
El sábado, los Red Bulls de Nueva York derrotaron 1-0 de visitantes al Galaxy de Los Angeles con gol de Joel Lindpere en la primera victoria que consiguen sin su astro Thierry Henry.
